Germany’s rich history has helped me in my teaching with resources for junior, modern and ancient history. Roman and medieval towns can still be seen everywhere. Highlights are Berlin with so many historical buildings and museums that it will take many more visits to see it all, Trier, Butzbach, Regensburg, Nuremberg, Erfurt, Eisenach, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Weimar, Dresden, Munich, Fussen.
Travelling around South America was an exciting and worthwhile experience. The wealth of resources collected made teaching Contact and Colonisation history much richer. These resources included information and images from
Machu Picchu, Cusco, Lima, Nazca Lines, Santiago de Chile, Rio de Janiero, the River Plate, Buenos Aires and Patagonia.
